Ansar Shaikh is a 2016 batch IAS officer from the West Bengal cadre. Hailing from Shelgaon village in Jalna district, Maharashtra, he became India's youngest IAS officer by clearing the UPSC Civil Services Examination at the age of 21. Despite facing significant financial hardships, he secured AIR 361 in his first attempt. He pursued his graduation in Political Science from Fergusson College, Pune. As of 2025, he is serving as the Additional District Magistrate in Malda, West Bengal.
